We recently moved into a condo that needed more storage space. We had a large bookcase build in a bedroom, a shelf and hanging rod added to a closet, a broom and storage closet in the laundry room, and extensive closed storage closets in the garage. The work was done by skillful, knowledgeable workmen who were always on time and very professional. The projects took several days to complete. They cleaned up (as much as was reasonable) at the end of each day. The final cost was similar to the original estimate. We are very satisfied and would use this company again.

We have been pleased to do business with Vimont Builders since 1990, when we bought our first home in Lexington. Our relationship runs the gamut from full remodel to kitchens to baths to basements to roofing to disaster recovery to minor repairs. Our first home was remodeled by Vimont to our satisfaction during the early 90's and we subsequently moved into a new home which was fully remodeled by Vimont Builders in 2005. During the interim and since our move, we have called upon Vimont Builders innumerable times for problems and opportunities small and big. Without exception, the work has been completed to our complete satisfaction. Occasional problems, which of course are to be expected due to the nature of construction, are resolved quickly and earnestly. As to the people at Vimont, many of them have been there since the beginning of our relationship and newer employees still reflect Vimont's reputation. One of the things that impresses us is Vimont's efforts to keep their people busy year-round to offer a real career for them. As to trust, they have had full access to our home night or day or weekend or holiday since almost the beginning. This allows us to count on them even if we are out of town, a real comfort. Vimont Builders always selects sub-contractors who reflect their values and allows clients (and their architects) full access to management during projects so that a satisfactory outcome is more likely. I can't think of a deeper business relationship that my family has with any supplier, a relationship which covers now three generations of people - from Mr Vimont's father to our daughter. To conclude, potential clients should ask for and check Vimont's references. I believe they will find our experience to be the norm and they will be very pleased when they select Vimont Builders.

We are currently about to wrap up our 5th remodel project with Vimont Builders. We met them at Remodelers' Showcase about 12 years ago, and quickly learned to make sure we included their projects at the Showcase over the years. We always enjoyed chatting with Ted and Buddy, and their projects were so comfortable & homey. When we were able to start our own projects, they were on the short list (even though we had seen many contractors' work over the years, and chatted with many of them as well). After our first bathroom remodel, we had them do 2 more baths. We were so pleased with their professionalism and personability that we had them replace siding & windows. Then, when our dream of building a sunroom came true, we wouldn't have had anyone BUT Vimont. The subcontractors they hire have all done impeccable work, and the Vimont employees who have created our projects are simply artists. We are thrilled with everything they do, as well as the subcontractors they use. After 5+ big remodel projects, we wouldn't have anyone else here.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Vimont builders doing a full kitchen & laundry room remodel and putting hardwood floors in half my first floor. From my very first interaction with Ted looking at the initial project and planning to the work itself with Buddy as the project manager, we could not have been more pleased. Ted provided invaluable advice that saved us time and money AND Buddy was so organized and considerate. The guys worked around kids, dogs and the general chaos of our daily lives to be as accommodating as possible. Little things like making sure we had access to our washer and dryer up to the last possible moment were so helpful. The work site was always clean and all of the subs were professional. Our finished product is gorgeous and there were no cost surprises -- the project came in on time, on budget and we have been thrilled. Vimont is the best!
